YouNDigital’s Active Participation in ECREA 2024 and Pre-Conference
The YouNDigital project played a significant role at this year’s ECREA 2024 conference and its pre-conference. As co-organizers of the pre-conference Young People and News: Breaking Boundaries across Europe, YouNDigital coordinators Maria José Brites and Teresa Sofia Castro joined forces with an international team of experts to discuss the latest research on youth and news engagement. The event featured keynote speakers and impactful presentations on youth news consumption and digital literacy.
In the main ECREA 2024 conference, held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, several YouNDigital team members presented research exploring young audiences, algorithms, and media consumption.
