MeLCiLab Member Nuno Cintra Torres Presents at Urban Futures Conference

Nuno Cintra Torres, a member of MelCiLab, presented his work “The Magi myth: more overpowering than digital magic?” at the Urban Futures – Cultural Pasts: Sustainable Cities, Cultures & Crafts conference at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona. Drawing from his doctoral thesis supervised by Prof. Manuel José Damásio, Torres used the Mediated Discourse Analysis method to explore the 2015-2016 fundraising campaign for Domingos Sequeira’s painting “The Adoration of the Magi”.
