Carla Sousa, co-coordinator of the MeLCi Lab, elected President of the Board of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Ciências dos Videojogos (SPCV)

We are delighted to share that Carla Sousa, co-coordinator of the MeLCi Lab, has been elected President of the Board of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Ciências dos Videojogos (SPCV) for the year 2025.

The election took place in December 2024, marking an important milestone for the SPCV as it continues its mission to advance the development and study of video games in Portugal. Carla Sousa will collaborate with esteemed colleagues from various Portuguese universities and polytechnic institutions to drive the organization’s initiatives forward.

The MeLCi Lab team congratulates Carla Sousa on this achievement and looks forward to supporting her in this exciting role.
