Exploring Diversity, Training, and Digital Citizenship: Highlights from YouNDigital

The YouNDigital project continues to drive impactful diversity, education, and youth engagement initiatives. Here’s a snapshot of the latest developments:

1. Toolkit on Participatory Research with Youth

The Toolkit YouNDigital, Participatory Research with Youth – Echoes of Diversity, edited by Margarida Maneta and Mariana Müller, explores diversity and participatory methodologies through contributions from researchers across Portuguese-speaking regions.

Key highlights include reflections on diversity, ethics in youth research, and essays linking academia, activism, migration, participatory photography, and youth empowerment. Read more here.

2. Reports on Training and Research Findings

Two key reports have been released:

  • Training Report: Details YouNDigital’s sessions for journalists, policymakers, and youth, emphasising critical media literacy, diversity, and AI.
  • Data Analysis Report: Highlights youth’s preference for relatable news, the lack of schools as spaces for media literacy, reliance on social media, and challenges in engaging with politics.
