Exploring Games as Tools for Social Inclusion at Lisbon Games Week

On November 22, 2024, Carla Sousa, a researcher at CICANT and co-coordinator of the MeLCi Lab, shared her expertise at Lisbon Games Week (LGW). In her talk, “Games as Tools for Social Inclusion: Challenges and Opportunities”, Carla Sousa delved into the influential role of both digital and analogue games in fostering social inclusion.

Her presentation highlighted the psychosocial benefits of games, including their capacity to enhance well-being, improve relational dynamics, and promote learning.
