Successful Internal Meeting at MeLCi Lab

As the summer break approached, MeLCi Lab members gathered for an important internal meeting to discuss key topics for our upcoming Autumn School, scheduled online from October 28 to 31, 2024. The meeting featured insightful presentations from our team members, starting with lab coordinator Maria José Brites, who shared her research on young people’s interactions with algorithms. Lucia Mesquita followed with a presentation on the impacts of AI in journalism and its influence on audiences. Teresa Castro concluded the presentations by addressing the ethical considerations of AI in scientific research.
