New E-Book on Ethics in Research with Children and Young People Now Available

We are pleased to announce the publication of the e-book “LET’S TALK ABOUT ETHICS IN RESEARCH WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE? – What nobody shared online… until now”, edited by Teresa Sofia Castro, Maria João Leote de Carvalho, and Maria José Brites.
This book results from the YouNDigital – Youth, News and Digital Citizenship project and builds upon discussions from its Podcast Cycle. Rather than simple transcriptions, the chapters provide a structured reflection on key ethical and methodological issues discussed by twelve researchers across different disciplines, including communication sciences, sociology, anthropology, and psychology.
The book highlights the rights of children and young people and the importance of conducting ethical research that is context-sensitive, adaptable, and mindful of researcher-participant relationships.
📖 The e-book is available in open access.
