YouNDigital Project’s Research Findings Told Through Video

A new set of eight short videos now brings to life key findings on how young people in Portugal engage with news and information. Based on results from the YouNDigital – Youth, News and Digital Citizenship research project (DOI: 10.54499/PTDC/COM-OUT/0243/2021), these videos translate academic research into accessible, visually engaging formats.

Produced by audiovisual communication specialists, with videographic design by André Ferreira and production by Célia Quico (a member of the YouNDigital research team), the series was developed under the scientific coordination of Maria José Brites, Teresa Sofia Castro and Margarida Maneta. The videos are officially integrated into Portugal’s National Media Literacy Plan.

The playlist includes the following themes, each available in Portuguese and English:
– Young People and Algorithms
– What Will News Be Like in the Future?
– Do Young People and News Still Meet?
– To Know What’s Going on in the World, Who Do They Follow?
